Write down your own definition of globalization by synthesizing the presented definitions during
discussion.

Globalization is part of our daily life where everything we touch and see is part of globalization.
Globalization has positive impacts to the society to make things more accessible where it makes it easier
for people all over the world to connect with one another. Food, clothes, bags, etc. are some examples
of the products of globalization. The modern era, climate change, trade market, terrorism, and the
spread of deadly viruses/diseases like COVID-19 are issues that Globalization has contributed.

For me, Globalization will be expected to continue to happen in the future but the future is still

unpredictable. Numerous inventions have been made throughout this decade that totally changed how

to world works and to make things easier for people. For example, there are cars that have the ability to

drive on its own with the help of technology to guide its track. This concept is a great tool for humans to
avoid man-made incidents. I think that in the future, all cars would be able to self-drive where these cars

would be able to be alerted and to be slowed down when there is a nearby car/human to avoid

Globalization has a shifting nature where it is complex, multifaceted, and can be influenced by
individuals on how they contribute to it. Globalization won’t evolve if people decided to not contribute

to the society. Countries have the ability to give and to receive products that they don’t have for their

own country to develop and to enhance products for their own good. A country has the resources that

other countries need but lacks a specific resource where they can find it on other countries. Countries
have been helping each other since colonialism is present. However, because of colonialism, there are
countries that are rich life Africa are being exploited by those countries that have a strong military power

that could overpower a country for their rich resources. A country like Africa that has rich number of

With these, I think that Globalization has a positive impact to the world but also a negative
impact to the world. Globalization has totally changed how the world would evolve in the future. But the

For me, I would classify my definition on a positive note because countless inventions have been
made where it contributes to make work easier. Transporting goods is one example of a positive impact
of globalization because it is now easier to transport them without the goods beings rotten and it is
faster than before. Many products like food, clothes, bag, computers, as well as designs of anything like a
house have been a contribution of globalization. Despite having negative impacts like terrorism and
deadly virus like COVID-19. Countries have been lending a helping hand to those who are in need.

 Countries have agreed to have a peaceful talk to avoid wars especially world war 3 where many people
would be really affected and that would slow down the pace of the world developing because of the
destruction that it would give. I think that if globalization is executed well without affecting other people
negatively, I think that the world would be a different world that no one can ever imagine.
