D. Motivation.

I am going to play a video and please watch and observe the content of the
Video class. Out of the video you’ve watched what have you noticed?
Very well said! Today class, we are going to identify the different kinds of
baking utensils and equipment.
E. Presenting Objectives.
Before moving further, let’s be guided with our lesson objectives.
Please read the objectives class. Thank you class. Those are our lesson objectives
that we need to attain at the end of our activity.

Baking utensils and equipment
 Measuring cups- is a kitchen utensil used to measure the volume of liquid
or bulk solid cooking ingredients such as flour and sugar.
 Measuring spoons- is a spoon used to measure an amount of an ingredient,
either liquid or dry when cooking.
 Mixing bowls- Are used for storage, working dough’s, mixing salad and
more.
 Mixing spoons- Makes it easier to cook and prepare meals.
 Spatula- Is a blood, flat, flexible blade used to mix, spread and lift material
including foods, drugs, plaster and paints.
 Flour sifter- Breaks any lumps in the four which means you can get a more
accurate measurement.
 Rolling pin- Are used to evenly flatten everything from pie and pastry
dough’s.
 Baking pins- Is a flat, rectangular metal pan used in an oven. It is often
used for baking bread rolls, pastries and flat products.
 Pastry cloth and rolling pin cover- Made of a thick woven cotton material
that resists grease and moisture.

 Scraper- Made of metal, Plastics, wood, rubber or silicon rubber which is


often interchanged with a spatula for some of the various uses.
 Cutting tools- Includes pastry blender, pastry wheel biscuit and doughnut
