For not so close friends or those not in touch for a while
Reconnect with old friends and break the ice.
• “Hey Migo! Just refreshing/trimming down my
facebook friendlist! Are you still actively using this
account?”
• “Migo! Are you still based in (area)?”
• “Migo! You still with (insert company)?”
• “Migo! You still play/attend/involved/doing/into
(insert relatable sport/event/org/activity/hobby)?”
• “Belated Happy Birthday Migo! (Then when they
reply, ask how their birthday was and connect)”
• You can also backtrack messenger conversations and
talk about it

CREATE GENUINE CONVERSATIONS
• After using one of these conversation starters, continue to converse by developing the
conversation (Kamusta ka na by the way? Where are you working na now? Grabe can
you believe na the last time we saw each other was 10 years ago!)
• Don’t force the conversation if they are not responsive. In any case, your profile will be
ACTIVATED in such a way that your posts will be seen in their newsfeeds especially when
you do a RECPOST.
HOW TO TRANSITION WHILE CONVERSING…
1. Ask what they are doing for work. Most of the time, they will ask you also kung ano yung
ginagawa niyo for work. You can reply something like:
“I’m working with an NGO now and doing business also. Right now, meron kaming group
sa fb that teaches people how to make money online . Gaanong katagal ka na pala sa
company mo? (show genuine interest to know more about them and continue asking
questions)
*key is to say something that will get them curious enough to ask ”HOW” and if they do,
you can tell them something like: “I can tag u to a short video explanation if you want.” then
continue conversation.
2. Identify a need. If your friend says something like “pagod na ako sa work” or “kulang
yung sweldo” or “naghahanap ako ng ibang work” etc.
Then you can say something like:
“Ah alam mo, baka this can help. I’m doing business now and right now, meron kaming
group sa fb that teaches people how to make money online and create passive income.
Kung gusto mo, pwede kita i-add para you can learn more about it. Maybe it can help :)”
3. You can use their area as a segway and say something like:
Oh, btw. Sakto pala that you are still based in (area). I just jointed this growing
local/international facebook community that teaches people how to make money online and
create passive income. Kung gusto mo I can add you so you can learn more about it. Wanna
