1. General

This specification describes the design of the lighting socket distribution panels for
the Project, which should be manufactured according to this specification and the
respective schematic diagrams.
The lighting distribution panels (LDP) are used for feeding and switching the
following consumers:

Lighting System
230V Sockets

The material specified is based on European supply. As in the Tan Thang Project
local supply of this material is provided, similar and/or same types may be used, but
adjustments of this document may be done based on availability of material on the
Vietnamese market.

1.1 Standards
The low voltage distribution panel will comply with following standards:

IEC 439-1; (November 1992)

VDE 0660, part 500 (April 1994)

1.2 Electrical data

Lighting and socket voltage: 400/230V; 50 Hz, 3-phases; 5 wires
(L1, L2, L3 + N + PE)

2.1 Painting process

According to standard of panel manufacturer.

2.2 Color code

RAL 7035 light grey

2.3 Cabling

The Cables entries are below through a divisible base plate.

The LDP’s shall be equipped with floor frames. The floor frame shall be fitted with
removable base plates below cable sections and below incoming circuit.
Termination of neutral, PE and control cables inside the panel shall be realized as
screw terminals (min. 4mm2).
Terminal size for outgoing cables shall be according the external cable dimensions
(see LDP diagram).
For outgoing cables a cable grid shall be provided for suitable cable fastening.

 2.5 Labelling

All internal units shall be labeled corresponding to the schematic diagram with circuit No.
Terminal blocks shall be labeled corresponding to the schematic diagram.

Labels fitted on LDP panel front will be made of white laminated plastic with engraved
letters or numbers in black and shall be fixed by screws.

2.6 PE-Bar

The PE-bar shall be mounted vertical to the switchboard wall in cable room. The length of
the bars corresponds to the sections of the panels. The doors should be earthed.

2.7 Door lock

Doors shall have the same locking latch throughout the whole plant (double side key).

 2.8 Document holder

The panels should be equipped with a documentation holder (schematic box), which
is inside mounted on the door.

2.9 Transportation hook

For transport and erection, the panels shall be equipped with suitable transportation
hooks.

2.10 Heat dissipation

Forced ventilation by fans is not necessary. The heat dissipation is through the
surface of the enclosure metal sheets of the panel.

3. General internal configuration

The Lighting Distribution Panel (LDP) is used for the distribution of auxiliary power,
for the lighting and the 230V Socket Centers system.

4. Designation, description and location of LDP’s

The designation, description location and access of Lighting and Socket Distribution
Panels (LDP) that will be used in the Project.
