Summit software is a gazelle. Gazelle means that it is a type of company that often involve in
technology industry wherein that is the specialty of the summit software Inc. such as software
manufacturing and distribution company. Gazelle also means that it is a young with at least four
years of sustained revenue growth and fast-growing company wherein the Summit Software Inc.,
was already five years in the business that enable to grow in such a short time. Gazelle companies
are the best sources of new job or employment for the economy. Therefore, the summit software
opens more jobs to people because of the fast pace they will need more people to serve assistance
or support, control and management.

2. What problems may Jim face by owning such fast-growing business?

The problems that Jim may face by owning such fast-growing business are: Difficulty to remain
as gazelles because they start to grow in larger size. Jim has only three employees that are burdened
to work with heavy load of work so they will need to hire more people to be able to cope up with
their needs. The customers will have more expectations to the changes and innovations in their
products, so they will need to step up their game in terms of fast upgrades and development of their
technology because in every business there are competitors. Therefore managing the business is a
factor that will also burden the owner, because you will need to be able to adapt to manage more
people, administrative duties are also need to be prioritized and slower decision making and
communication as the hierarchy of the company grows.

not?

Gazelles are vital for the growth of the company as they produce wealth that benefit the
economy of the country. As the gazelles grows rapidly the economy of the country is also growing
due to the need of employment to cope up with the rapid growth and changes of the company.
They are the source of hope when the economy is down because they can ease the loss with their
high revenues that they produce in time. Traditional growth business gives slow growth and steady
profit for the country. The traditional company are slow in production and inefficient unlike the
gazelles.
