About marketing manager:

A marketing manager supervises the marketing resources and activities of a certain product or a
business. For example, a marketing manager may determine which customers to target, define what
are the company's marketing advantages, and also analyses the competition in the market. A
marketing manager is responsible for managing the promotion and positioning of a brand or the
products and services that a company sells.

Typically marketing managers are employed to attract more customers to buy from the company and
to raise brand awareness through the creation of marketing campaigns. Marketing covers a vast
spectrum of duties within a business, from the promotion of products and services right way through
analyzing data and setting strategy for how a company is going to grow. Because marketing can
have a profound effect on every element of a company and the way it operates, marketing
management is a very responsible role.

Primarily the marketing department exists to find new ways of generating revenues and customers
aligned with the fast-moving pace of technology, as well as optimizing and modernizing traditional
marketing methods. A creative mind and a head for business are essential to succeed in the role of a
marketing manager. Strong communication coupled with the ability to lead and motivate a team are
considered core skills for this position.

Marketing management is an available and accessible career path for anyone at any stage in their
career, and salaries for marketing managers are generous. For those seeking to progress quickly,
senior marketing opportunities are plentiful, with wages and benefits increasing with experience and
level of responsibility.

Justification of why marketing manager:

A marketing manager is responsible for managing the promotion and positioning of a brand or the
products and services that a company sells. Typically marketing managers are employed to attract
more customers to buy from the company and to raise brand awareness through the creation of
marketing campaigns. Marketing manager also analyses the types of customers that a company
wants and how to attract them, and marketing manager figure out ways for the company to better
serve the customers they already have.
Marketing managers also ensure that the company sees a good return on investment through
marketing activities. Most importantly, marketing management is a career choice; it can offer the
potential to travel, handle luxury goods and services, attend large events, and even take part in new
technology trials.

Preparing questionnaire for training need analysis:

While considering about training need analysis, it must be helpful to determine the needs to be
completed in a certain period to allow their team to complete their job as effectively as possible, as
well as progress and grow.
Overview about the questionnaire formation:

From our expected skills we have framed the below questions regarding on what basis we are
required to provide training for the selected participants that is marketing managers. They are also
asked to provide their suggestions/opinions to improve the skills of one. At last, they were asked to
comment what they felt about this particular survey.
Here, the questionnaire was formed with three parts, in that

• Part one comprises of basic demographic questions that the responders need to
type/write/pick from the given option.
• Part two comprises of forty-two questions that responders have to circle/shade the number,
how strongly do they agree or disagree with the given statements. These questions were
formed with the basic variables such as communication, interpersonal skills, conflict
resolution, team work, adaptability, time, and accountability.
• Part three comprises of ten questions which is to be answered in descriptive. This will help to
understand even better about them.
• Last part is just a comment about this survey.
