NARRATIVE REPORT ON THE DISTRIBUTION OF SLMs AND RETRIEVAL OF OUTPUTS

Date: April 30, 2021

Barangay: Marifosque
Team Marifosque: Leader: Eddie M. Bausa Jr.
Members: Marilyn L. Logia

In the midst of corona virus crisis, the call remains the same that education must continue, thus
Pilar National Comprehensive High School has assured the learners, parents, teachers, and the general
public of the continuation of learning considering health, safety, and well-being as primary
consideration.

Distance Learning Delivery Modalities (DLDM) has served as the methodologies that make sure
learning takes place between the teacher and learners who are geographically remote from each other
during instruction. With the printed self-learning modules (SLM) or learning activity sheets (LAS)
covering all subjects, sorted outs, and packed per barangay, learning opportunities were provided to
learners without requiring them to come to school.

Team Marifosque delivered the modules to the venue (barangay hall and barangay chapel) last
April 30, 2021 at 8:00 in the morning. Mrs. Marilou Mandrilla and Mr. Eddie Bausa Jr. took charge in
the distribution of SLMs/LAS and retrieval of outputs for Grade 7, Mrs. Lalaine Malto for Grade 8, Mrs.
Marilyn Logia for Grade 9 and Mrs. Eudeza Baloloy for Grade 10 learners.

Barangay officials likewise extended assistance in the preparation of venue and in securing peace
and order in the duration of the activity. Health protocols such as wearing of facemask, physical
distancing and others were strictly observed by the parents/guardians, and teachers.

Parents/guardians who regularly claimed the outputs from the assigned teachers in the barangay
signed the Distribution and Retrieval Form prepared by the class adviser upon receipt of sets of
modules/LAS and upon submission of the student’s outputs.
Despite geographical distance, with the DLDM the teacher and the learners are not separated,
instead interconnected in different ways and manner of learning engagements. Since Barangay
Marifosque is situated along the road and the nearest barangay in Pilar National Comprehensive High
School almost 98% of modules/LAS were distributed.

Issues and concerns of students, parents and teachers were properly addressed during the
distribution and retrieval schedule. Some of the concerns were as follows:
a) some students have incomplete submitted outputs
b) some learners submitted failed to submit expected outputs on time
c) some submitted outputs have no name of learner

No untoward incidents were noted during the distribution and retrieval activity.
