It serves as the organizing principle of the


speech.
A conclusion ends the speech through:
1. summary - to sum up topic;
2. challenging the audience – to motivate
audience; or
3. Utopian vision- emphasizes what could
happen if the speaker’s challenge is met.

AG: A girl friend is easy to find, a best friend is
not.
TS: I would rather have a best friend since she is
a more preferable partner.
