Areas of Specialization in Home Economics

Directions: Based from the Areas of Specialization in Home Economics that you have read, answer the
followings questions briefly.
1. Which of these areas of specialization of Home economics do you prefer? Why?
My diet is something I have power over in this uncertain world. In making dishes that taste good
and are nutritious to feed my body and my Soul. I find joy in cooking seriously. I like cooking, obviously,
because it's fun. It is economical as a hobby. Many hobbies consume extra cash, cooking is a hobby that
saves money in reality.
Personally, I am a creative person and I love to be able to experiment and make dishes that both
challenge me and that I can be proud of in the production process. I love knowing exactly what's in my
food and it's cheaper, but I love being able to see a range of ingredients dispersed into a tasty, beautiful
dish, most of all. To me, it's like sculpture, and it's one of the reasons I have a great deal of respect for
chefs. I also think it's easier, to eat better when I cook.
In short, I prefer to cook because I sincerely believe that it will benefit me and other people in
their everyday food supply to comply with nutrition guidelines. They encourage us to make food choices
that are healthier. Therefore, teaching kids and teens how to cook and encouraging them to improve their
cooking skills is critical.
2. On the areas of specialization in Home Economics discussed, what are the most suitable
specialization amidst the pandemic? How it can affect our economy?
During periods when communicable diseases spread easily, it is critically important to remain
healthy. For you and your family, a sound budget, being neat and clean is a big part of overall security.
The pandemic has influenced and will possibly continue to affect household finances for years to
come, regardless of the present or coming health effects of COVID-19 on our lives. The key to our
financial security would be to have a strategy, prioritize spending, and effectively use resources.
Supporting local-owned small businesses has major positive economic consequences with regard to our
economy, as it creates local employment, and we all know that small businesses are job creators. Another
thing is, it makes the local economy stronger. Locally, investment means that the income taxes are
reinvested in the local economy, resulting in community improvements.
Health and hygiene, on the other hand, are a must as well. Good hygiene is essential to good
physical health and well-being because it helps minimize the risk of sickness, disease, and medical
problems caused by the effects of bad hygiene during these tough times (pandemic). Brushing your teeth,
bathing or showering, and wearing clean clothes are healthy personal grooming practices. Doing these
habits on a daily basis or as much as appropriate achieves good health and cleanliness and preserves
them. I think that during the pandemic, this field of specialization in home economics is very
advantageous because having good hygiene will help you stay healthy and has countless positive benefits
for your physical, mental, and psychological health.
Finally, as I'm sure we will be able to continue to help our local small businesses as we hit the
other side of this pandemic, preserve our safe lifestyle by preserving our personal hygiene ... We will
know that we are contributing to improving our community and improving the lives of others, we will
succeed in these tough times.
