Answer 1: -
If I would be the director of the company following things I would have did:
1. I would first schedule a meeting with the top management level and
discuss with them about the scenario and what steps we could have did.
2. I would ask the workers of my company to dig a huge pit temporarily so
that the discharge could get dump into that pit or I would have reduced
the use of water so that less water pollution is done.
3. I would ask the top managers to contribute few amounts for the
temporary use so that the work can be done quickly.
4. I would constantly encourage the workers so that the work can be done as
fast as possible.
5. I would also keep the overtime period and also give the workers extra
money so that the work can be done fast.
6. During my initial planning I had already bought a land for the emergency
time hence I could use that land for establishing treatment plant so that
the harmful chemicals that is been used for my company is discharged in
such a way that the nearby people don’t get affected hence I would
establish it far from residential areas and the dispose water would get into
the sewage.
7. Being the director of the company, I would have many years of
experience as well as good connections with the other people from abroad
so I can outsource some new smart technology instruments so that the
work can be done faster ad also minimal pollution.
8. Side by side I would also advertise or organize a campaign for cleaning
the water and reducing the waste material that has been dumped in the
water.

Answer 2: -
If I was in Rahul’s position I would have

1. Firstly I would Pay attention to the client's issues and try not to get
defensive. I would take the time to help my both client to understand that
ensure their problem could be solved soon.
2. Secondly, I would be compassionate and ask them thoughtful, caring
questions so that they really understand that their problem is been
considered and I am thinking of finding the solution as soon as possible
and getting my doubts clear so that the perfect step could be taken.

3. As one the customer replied that the paint is causing health problem in
their family after the company’s paint was applied I would first try to
convince them by saying that their might have a chance that while
painting, the paint went inside mouth or eyes or as it has a strong smell so
because of that the health problem might have occurred and hence would
suggest them to take the help of the trained paint applicants.
If the situation go out of control and they didn’t agree with it, then I
would talk to the team and apply some other paint in which there is
written that it kill the germs and keep your house safe and
environment cool and refreshing which would surely give a good and
positive impact on the customers.

4. I would let them know that we are in the same team.


and our end goal is to solve the problem, not argue about it. It's my
responsibility to make them feel like the issue is as important to me as it
is to them. And before keeping the phone

5. I will Take ownership which means like I will say them I am truly
sorry, for the issue and work on fixing the problem.

6. Moreover, I will Find a solution together means like I will ask the
customer whether he has a workable solution already in mind.
Regardless, I would also suggest some good idea or few options. But if
their solution is unrealistic, I will surely make them feel that they are a
part of the process and I care and actually listening and willing to help
them.
