The government should allocate more funding to teaching sciences rather than other
subjects in order for a country to develop and progress. To what extent do you agree?

There are a lot of disputes about resource allocation by government in education system. Some
people are convinced, that taxpayer money shall devote more to teach science subjects because
of their relevance in today s world. I concur with this attitude because cience-oriented subjects in
curuculum will helful for our next generation to develop a country and make it more competitive
in modern world.

Firstly, investing in scientific and technological infrastructure especially in schools help us to

grow future biologists, doctors, physicists. New technologies are created by them, so
government(?) should support their future human capital. Furthermore, it has long been
recognised that human capital is an important part of economic development. For example, in
United States a lot of high-school students have an opportunity to work in different laboratory
classes, try their scientific knowledge on practice. The U.S goverment consequently create a
nurturing enviroment for their future inventors.

Secondly, It has
been argued
by
some
people
whether
governments
' ought to allot more money to implement teaching sciences into schools' curriculum.
