10. An auditorium is a room built to enable an audience to hear and
watch performances. For movie theatres, the number of auditoria
is expressed as the number of screens.
An auditorium has 20 seats in the first row, 24 seats in the second
row and 28 seats in the third row and so on.

Based on the information given above, answer the following

questions:
(i) How many seats are there in 16th row? 1
(a) 76 (b) 80 (c) 84 (d) 88
(ii) In the last row of the auditorium there are 116 seats. How many 1
rows are there in the auditorium?
(a) 23 (b) 24 (c) 25 (d) 26
(iii) What is the total number of seats in auditorium? 1
(a) 1640 (b)1660 (c) 1680 (d)1700
(iv) If one seat is added in first row, two seats in second row, three 1
seats in third row and so on, then the total number of seats in
auditorium is
(a) 2025 (b) 2000 (c) 1975 (d) 1950

English in a school, M is the set of students studying Mathematics in
the same school, U is the set of all students in that school.
(i) All the students who study Mathematics study English, but
some students who study English do not study
Mathematics.
(ii) (ii) There is no student who studies both Mathematics and
English
