Sample Emcee Script

STI 36th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
Emcee Script
I. PROGRAM OPENING
VOICE OVER (VO) : Good evening, STI! Happy 36th anniversary!
(Response of the crowd)
VO : To start with tonight’s event, let us all welcome our hosts, Cy Dulaca, Alyssah Lucman, and Stanley Dimain!
(Entrance of the emcees with their gimmicks)
II. INTRODUCTION
(Adlib)

ALL : Good evening, STI!

(Adlib; Greetings from the emcees)
(May have some nautical jokes to set the mood of the theme)

ALL : Happy 36th anniversary!

ALY : Ahoy! Ahoy!

(Emcee will get energetic response from the crowd)

CY : To have more fun and excitement for this event, we have invited guests for tonight.

ALY : Really, wow I am so excited!

(Host will get response from the crowd or may ask questions from one of the hosts.)

ALY : Ang ganda, ’di ba? This is an 11-storey building na may magandang view, at katabi lang nila ang San Juan River!

STAN : I think everyone’s already excited for tonight’s activities. But before that, let’s check if the schools are really ready to
celebrate with us in this event. As I call your school, please stand up and make some noise.

(Roll call participating schools: STI College Caloocan, STI College Global City, etc.)

ALY : Yehey!!! Now that everyone has been recognized, let’s go over some of the special events that will happen tonight. Right,
Sir Stan?
STAN : Sure, Alyssah. All of us were given an anchor upon registration. Alam niyo ba kung anong gagawin sa mga anchors na
’yan?
CY : Our goal tonight is to get to know as many people as possible as well. An employee who has the most number of anchors
will be awarded as the MOST SOCIABLE SAILOR OF THE NIGHT. S/He may receive cash or gift certificates from our bosses.
Kaya go around and mingle with the people from other schools and collect as many colorful anchors as possible with a
minimum of 20 anchors to qualify. Ano-ano ba ang colors natin per school? (Mention colors assigned per school.)
ALY : This will go on throughout the night, so you will have lots of opportunity to get to know a lot of people. So don’t be shy
and row your boats!

STAN : Now, to officially kick-off our anniversary celebration, may we call on our dear __________________________ for some
inspiring words…

ALL : Mr. ____________________________________!!

(Applause from the crowd)
(Opening Remarks of Mr. ____________________)
STAN : Thank you very much, Sir, for gracing us with your presence and for the wonderful and inspiring message.
(Recap 1 or 2 messages of Mr. ________________)
CY : I think the buffet station is now open. Since there’s around 600 people tonight, we will go in groups. You will proceed to
the buffet station once your table number is called. So now, let us start with…. (Sequence for the buffet dinner will be
provided by HR.)
