Reports to Senior Research Metallurgist

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Ensure adherence of process parameters to specified optimum conditions as directed by the Metallurgical
Services
a. Conduct daily check/measure of mill process parameters
b. Assist coordination with Test Engineers and Mill Production Superintendent / Supervisors in the
implementation and control of various process parameters in the plant.
c. Assist Supervision in sampling and preparation of plant control samples, major mill supplies inventory,
and in handling and preparation of reagents for mill process requirements.
d. Assist supervision in the conduct of plant tests and evaluates results.
e. Assist supervision in the conduct of plant sampling for circuit inventories.
2. Accomplish studies and reports as required by his superior.
3. Assist instrumentation man in the necessary calibration of Weightometer and mass flow meter.
4. Operate truck scale in the absence of Material Controller.
5. Act as reliever to material controller.
6. Observe and perform the proper procedures in the use, dispensing, storage, handling and disposal of
chemicals, reagents and other materials in accordance to Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and / or technical
books and bulletins.
7. Participate in all company/departmental meetings, training/seminars and other developmental activities.
8. Promote, comply and support Corporate Citizenship/Code of Conduct, Safety and Environmental policies and
other Quality programs of the company.
9. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required and assigned by his/her superior.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education Degree in BS Metallurgical Engineering; BS Chemical Engineering or equivalent
License(s) / Certification License as Metallurgical Engineer or Chemical Engineer issued by the PRC
Work Experience At least one (1) year experience in either or combination of ore processing plant
operations, Research & Development work on ore processing or design of ore processing
plant.
