the exciting news for today. In today’s news,
our top story is: public speaking is set to be
compulsory in all Primary schools (set out
your headline). We will share more about
this in today’s show.

news – remember to be objective,
direct, and share facts (if sharing an
opinion, remember to cite the source)
Sample:

countries to make public speaking a
compulsory subject in Primary school, with
examinations and regular classes.
(Explain) The change in the syllabus is meant
to develop students to grow as confident,
competent, and create speakers.
(Example) According to Mr Johnathan

Speaking Taskforce, public speaking is
becoming a popular subject around the
world. He says that the change is important
to help our young minds grow as powerful
speakers.
