Minimum requirement:
CPD records must document a minimum of 150 hours of structured
CPD over a three-year period.
Specific requirements:
For all practitioners, of the 150 hours:
– At least 50 hours must relate to your area(s) of practice. If you
have more than one area of practice you must record at least 50
hours for each area.
– At least 10 hours must cover risk management
– At least 15 hours must address business and management skills
– The remainder must cover a range of activities relevant to your
career and interests.

– Complete eChartered application with 50% discount on
Professional Interview Fee ($337 inc GST, down from $674
inc GST)
– Must complete all submission requirements by 9 months
post go live of new process.

– Graduate Members who are not able to upgrade (less than 3 years exp) will
be provided with a refund of their enrolment fee only. Any work completed
can be kept to use as evidence.
– New Enrolments onto eChartered will be stopped from Go live of new system.
– Rolling closure of full system over following 12-15 months.

level of the ratings against the Chartered Competencies - this will be useful to
identify skill gaps and to develop PD plans
2. Chartered Payment & Progress Report:
−− For any persons that the company has paid for, the organisation will be able to see
where their individuals are up to as well as once they acheive Chartered
−− New Service level Agreements from September 2017 onwards
HOW TO GET
YOUR ENGINEERS PREPARED
−− If they are enrolled in the current eChartered process, make sure they
are aware of their options to transition.
−− If they are looking to become Chartered, introduce them to the self
assessment tool and start them on their journey.

integrate the revised Chartered process into your organisation.
