NARRATIVE REPORT
ON THE 2021 OPLAN BALIK ESKWELA

“Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself”. – John Dewey

Most people understand education as a matter of read and write but it is

important to have deeper understanding of what is the real meaning of education,
that the education also consists of experience, environment, socialization, and
communication.

In line with the DepEd Memorandum No. 058, s. 2021 and Division
Memorandum No. 306 s. 2021 or the conduct of the 2021 Oplan Balik Eskwela
(OBE) implementation for School Year 2021 – 2022 shall formally implement the
activity starting from September 6 to September 17, 2021 with the theme: OBE
2021: Bayanihan Para sa Ligtas na Balik Eskwela.

Through this, Sta. Cruz Elementary School have organized Oplan Balik
Eskwela Committee to address the enrolment-related problems, queries, and other
concerns encountered by the public and to ensure that the learners are properly
enrolled and able to attend the first day of classess.

Sta. Cruz Elementary School also provides their hotlines to receive calls, text
messages, emails, requests and suggestions from parents, students and other
concerned citizens, the SCES-OBE Committee provide also a log book for all
queries or complaints received daily.

September 13, 2021, the School Year 2021-2022 formally opens. The
Department of Education expressed the readiness to start new school year under
the “New Normal Education”.

In this regards, our school conducted flag raising ceremony, the parents or
guardians picked the Self-Learning Modules of their children on the designated
Honesty Booth per section following the health and safety protocols.
