III. Assessment Plan

1. Goal

Your task is to create a media based art informative electronic brochure where
you are going to present the importance of family planning in line with the
Reproductive Health Law. The electronic brochure that you will create must be
in persuasive form. The challenge is how you will be able to convince the people
about the benefits of various contraceptive measures using gathered facts,
scientific evidence and testimonies of 3-4 families through interviews.

2. Role

Assume the role of a health professional worker that promotes family planning
through a campaign advertising about various contraceptive measures.

3. Audience

The target audience are Filipino pre-family (single) and/or growing families in a
given society (barangay, town or city).

4. Situation

The students will be engaged to create campaign material through electronic


brochures by gathering facts and scientific evidence. They will also be engaged to
conduct an interview to 3-4 families (i.e. father and mother of each family) to gain
authentic knowledge about family planning to support the gathered scientific
information. There are challenges to overcome in accomplishing the task such as the
conflicting judgements of people on the issue that may cause various controversies.
Thus, it is important to be objective in presenting ideas rather than being subjective in
the campaign.

5. Product/Performance
1. Both the online (ODL) and offline digital (DMDL) learners will create a media-
based art informative electronic brochure that presents common and
effective measures used in family planning. The electronic brochure will be
presented in a freestyle format. Among all necessary content of your output,
the following should be presented:
