The last type of text-type according to purpose and
feature is Time Order.

Sequence/ Time order text-type signal the order in


which events happen. They allow readers to understand
a sequence of events using time order or date markers.
In addition to time and date markers, a sequence
structure can be recognized by the use of signal words
such as next, before, after, while, during, last,
later, finally, then, currently, at the same time,
first, second, third, etc. in the beginning of the
sentence just to show the sequence and order of the
events. Time order words establish clarity in our writing
and take readers on a clear and organized journey of
reading.

How to Cook Puto Cheese


A. Modeling Puto cheese is one of the delicious “Kakanin”
( I DO )
in the Philippines. In cooking puto cheese you will
need:
4 cups

Here is an example
3 cups of a time order text-type:

4 sachets of 33 grams powdered milk
½ cup butter cheese
1 tbsp vanilla extract
Procedures:
First, mix all the dry ingredients and add the
liquid ingredients.
Then, slice the cheese into rectangular shape. Next, boil
water in a steamer. Meanwhile, put the mix ingredients
in a puto molder, then add cheese on top. When the
water boils, put the molder on the steamer and let it cook
for 10 minutes. Afterwards, get the cooked puto the
steamer and let it cool. Lastly, removed the puto from the
molder and put it on a serving plate.

Puto cheese is well-known kakanin in the


Philippines. Some Filipinos engage in this kind of
business and means of livelihood for some Plaridelians.
