Mr. Dinesh Thakali

Mr. Thakali was appointed Chief Operating Officer of Prabhu Bank Ltd. in year 2018 and is now
the MD of Prabhu Capital .
Experience
Mr. Thakali has significant professional accountancy and audit experience, specifically focused
in the financial services sector.
Career
Mr. Thakali began his career as a professional auditor and was responsible for working in
various organizations like audit firm, projects for more than 10 years. Mr. Thakali later on joined
Shangri-La Development Bank where he held different leadership positions such as Senior
Operation Manager, Company Secretary, Deputy CEO and Officiating CEO within the time span
of 9 years. He stepped down from Shangri-La Development Bank in 2018 to join Prabhu Bank
Ltd.
Mr. Thakali has played a major role on managing the core responsibilities of the entire
operations of the bank, including Central Trade Operations, General Administrations, Treasury
Back Operations, and Central Credit Operation & Administration and also helped to maintain
relationships with other BFI's.

Mr. Sherchan was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Prabhu Finance Ltd. in the year 2007
and became Chief Executive Officer of Prabhu Bank Ltd. in year 2014.
Experience
Mr. Sherchan has substantive experience in the commercial banking arena and has exceptional
understanding of the social, economic, financial and political dynamics of our markets and of
global trade, and a deep and broad network of decision-makers in the jurisdictions in our
footprint.
Career
Mr. Sherchan began his career with Nepal Credit & Commerce Bank Ltd in 1995 and later on
joined with Nepal Bangladesh Bank Ltd, where he was responsible for working closely with the
bank's partners and providing advice, recommendations and information to enable the bank to
grow whilst maintaining its regulatory responsibilities until he stepped down in 2006 to join
Prabhu Bank Ltd. He was the CEO of both Prabhu Finance Ltd & Prabhu Development Bank
Ltd. and was responsible for leading an entire organization through different mergers and
acquisitions, dedicated to making financial lives better for people, companies of every size, and
institutional investors across Nepal and around the world. Mr. Sherchan was later appointed on
the role of CEO of Prabhu Bank Ltd. in 2014 and since then taken the charge of the commercial,
technical and organizational interests, whilst managing relationships with key stakeholders,
providing leadership to the managers of the finance, HR, business development and IT
departments, presiding over the organization's day-to-day, month-to-month, and year-to-year
operations to name a few.
