With the outbreak of the Corona virus, millions
of citizens are being locked in at their homes.
Since everyone is at home many of our young
ladies are experiencing some type of abuse.
Some women maybe raped, sexual harass or
they are facing domestic violence. During the
outbreak of the virus there are many reports of
our females that are being raped, becoming a
victim of human trafficking , while some are
being abuse at home. Some of the women
would use school, church, and other family
friends house to use as a shield to get away
from being abuse but since the virus they would
have to locked in their own homes.
As we listen the daily news, there are many
reports of our women being missing, killed,
raped and are being sexual harassed. The
women incorporated are aware of number of
women that are being abuse at their homes
because of the lockdown many women are
being treated badly by their partners and are
going through depression stage that affects
them mentally
Protecting
individual rights
Individual rights refer to the liberties of each to
pursue life and goals without the interference from
other individuals or the government. The women
incorporated protect the individual rights of each
female that enters the facility. There is a shelter
that house women and children who are seeking
shelter from abuse. There are measure that are
place to ensure the safety of not only the victims
but their children and staff of the shelter. The
address of the facility is not disclosed, and they are
advisedto change sim or turn off location on their
different devices. All these steps are taken into
consideration to prevent the abuser to discover the
whereabouts of the victims.
PROMOTING
ACTIVE
CITIZENSHIP
Promoting active citizenship means
building the power of citizens,
starting with their internal power,
self-confidence, and assertiveness.
Citizen work together to build each
other. The women incorporated can
encourage citizen to volunteer and
give ahelping hand, donate items for
them to help out women.

STRATEGIES
1) Promoting on social media- The women
incorporated can use the social media
platform to talk about the services that they
provide for other citizens to be aware. Since
social media is large that would be a good
platform.
2) Visiting other organization- they can visit
other organization and educate them about
the women incorporated to allow women to
build their confidence, gain knowledge and to
let them know that they can get help.

3) Community outreach- the organization can

go to the community to talk to the women
about rape, domestic violence and other type
of abusive behavior that they maybe expose
to.
