MID-TERM EXAMINATION DETAILED

GUIDELINES IN SUCCESSION

I The Mid-Term Examination in Succession set on November 17, 2020 at 5:30 o’clock
in the afternoon shall be a PEN AND PAPER TEST.

II Things to prepare before the Mid-Term Examination:

a) At least 30 leaves of good quality composition notebook


b) A blue or black sign or fountain pen with tip size of .07 mm
c) A fully functioning device (camera/audio) and reliable like laptop, desktop, tablet
or cellular phone;

*d) A fully functioning and reliable device, cellular phone, camera or scanner, to scan the
answers;
d) A stable internet connectivity;
e) Headphone or earphone is encouraged but may be dispensed with if the device’s audio
in item (c) is working well; and
g) A Google Drive for each section where the answers shall be uploaded. In this regard,

Mr. Eli Vivero (for Section A) and Ms. Thalea Roselle Gadin (for Section B) are

requested to create the required drive. For easy reference, each student in the class
must have a FOLDER in the Google Drive which shall be labelled with the student’s
name in the following format: Last Name, First Name, Middle Initial.

* If the device in item (c) can also serve as scanner, item (d) may be dispensed well.

III Manner of administering the examination:

a) On examination day, be on line before 5:30 o’clock in the afternoon and join the

Zoom Conference with video camera on and microphone on mute the entire

duration of the examination. The video camera must be positioned in such

a manner that it captures the student taking the examination, the notebook
to be used and the working desk or table which must be cleared of things
other than the pen, notebook and device.

b) The questionnaire in PDF format shall be sent to Mr. Eli Vivero (Section A) and

Ms. Thalea Roselle Gadin (Section B) at exactly 15 minutes before the scheduled

examination and the two are task to immediately send the questionnaire to others
ensuring that everyone get it in 15 minutes (from 5:15 to 5:30). In the meantime,

all are enjoined to wait until the invigilator in the room gives the go signal to start

answering.
c) While taking the examination, leaving the working desk or table or turning off

of camera is not allowed. Everyone is advised to prepare all personal needs before
the start of examination. If it is however, completely necessary to leave, permission
from the invigilator is required.

d) In answering the examination questions: 1) answer to each item must be written on


a separate page in the notebook and when necessary, continue on the next page;
2) answers must be in the order as asked for in the examination questionnaire;
3) no writing of answers at the back of each page; and 4) do not leave a question
without an answer.

e) Listen to the instruction that the invigilator may give while the examination is on-going.
When the invigilator declares that the time is up all must stop writing.

f) After the invigilator declares that time is up, within 30 minutes do the following: 1) on
the upper right corner of your notebook, assign a page number on each sheet; 2) using a

cellular phone, camera or a scanner, take photos or scan all answer sheets. You may opt

to store them as individual photos or as a continuous PDF or docx file. Accordingly,


only the following file extensions shall be allowed: jpg, jpeg, png, pdf, doc or docx;
and 3) upload to the FOLDER assigned to you in the class Google Drive the
pictured/scanned answer sheets.

g) In another 30 minutes, Mr. Vivero and Ms. Gadin must provide me with the link to the
class Google Drive. Late submission shall no longer be accepted. Any problem
encountered in the submission of answer sheets must be coursed through Mr. Vivero

and Ms. Gadin and addressed to me.

h) Follow instructions carefully. Failure to do so shall be dealt with accordingly.
