President’s Message
Happy Fall! It is always refreshing to feel the
cooler weather and see the beautiful color
changes happening in our area. East TN is
certainly a spectacular sight in the fall. I
encourage you all to continue to stay connected
with our Gamma sisters. We can get through
this pandemic together.
Member News
Welcome to new member, Cianda Echevarria!
She was our 2021 ETSU student teacher
honoree. She is unable to join us for our
October meeting due to being in Spain for her
honeymoon, so we will induct her into our
chapter at the November meeting. We hope
you can join us!
Chapter Project
Thanks to everyone who brough mints and/or
sent in monetary donations for this project. Amy
Rigsby delivered our baskets to Unicoi High
School and Love Chapel Elementary. Thank
you, Amy! Please remember to bring mints to
our October and November meetings. We will
put together more baskets of treats to deliver to
area schools. We want to show a little
appreciation for our local teachers and staff.

There is now a password protected site on the
state website, tndkg.org. When you click on the
Contact Us tab at the top of the homepage,
you will see Member. When you click on
Member you will enter the password. Please
contact your chapter president to obtain the
password.

Meeting Updates
September
We had a good first meeting. Thanks to Suzi for
arranging the location and snacks. Thanks to
Jackie for leading us in cardio drumming. What
fun!
October
Our next meeting will be on Saturday, October 9,
at Everlan. We will meet at 9:00am for a time of
fellowship and light refreshments before
beginning our business. Abbi Kincaid will be
sharing instructional technology with us, so come
prepared to learn all about it.
November
This meeting will also take place at Everlan
beginning at 9am on Saturday, November 13.
Our program will consist of inducting Cianda as
well as hearing legislative updates from area
representatives.
