Materials
Amoeba sp. culture, Paramecium sp. culture, cotton wool, sodium chloride solution and vinegar
Apparatus
Glass slides, cover slips and a light microscope
Procedure
1 Your teacher will prepare the Amoeba sp. culture and Paramecium sp. culture a week before
the experiment.
2 Spread some cotton wool on the slide. The cotton wool will limit the movement of Amoeba sp.
3 Place a drop of the Amoeba sp. culture onto the cotton wool and cover it with a cover slip.
4 Observe the structure of Amoeba sp under the light miscroscope.
5 Draw and label the structure of Amoeba sp. Take note!

6 Observe how Amoeba sp. moves. You can prepare
