1 Type of the cooling tower requirement in the BAB Use Close circuit cooling tower and coil copper type
II page 1 and 2 request the cooling tower type is [Does not use PVC infill]
“Closed Circuit Cooler” mean is the cooling tower
is not “Open” type and is not use PVC Infill but
use Coil section inside the cooling tower, it’s
true?

2 The total Cell require per unit is two(2)Cells, the 3 cooling tower with 6 cells (1 cooling tower has 2 cell)
unit quantity require is Three (3) Units total, So,
the total Cell quantity all for three(3) Units cooling
towers is Six(6)Cells, it’s right?

3 Is there any target efficiency? No target efficiency

4 Please advise tender scope of works? By Cooling Tower Supplier

a. Supply and delivery of cooling tower including put in
position on foundation. The location is beside Building L
b. Star-up, testing and balancing
c. Regular servicing and maintenance during the defects
liability period (12 months) including routine inspection
every 2 weeks
d. Necessary spares and tools
e. Providing shop drawings, builder's work drawings, as
built drawings (min 3 sets)
f. Preparing operating and maintenance manuals including
brochures, tables, proof of transfer of warranty and other
applicable literature (min 3 sets)
g. Training employer's staff in operation and maintenance
procedures (min 1 month)
h. Providing expert / skilled engineers to be on site and in
attendance during the testing and commissioning of all
equipment supplied under this Contract. Such
attendance shall include but not be limited to witnessing
the tests, advising as necessary, setting up controls and
control systems, and checking the installation
connections and fixings are in accordance with the
manufacturers instructions.
