3.0 Company Story


3.1 Background
- Bayu Surprise Delivery - a local surprise gift delivery shop
- established on September 2021
- Founded by Priscella Henry, co founded by (3) others
- Does gift delivery (around KK, Penampang, Putatan, Tuaran, Papar) or postage
services.
3.2 Objectives
- To have over 2000 followers on our social media pages to add effort to promote
our various gift products
- To collaborate with Grab for Grab drivers (runners) to also make deliveries from
our inventory to customers.
3.3 Mission
It is our company’s duty to provide gift delivery service among our Sabahan
customers. We give out various packages from flower arrangements to surprise
boxes, as well as various designs that customers could choose from.
3.4 Vision
To be a local gift shop delivery franchise in Sabah in the next 10 years.

4.0 The Product/ Service
Company Name: Bayu Surprise Delivery - a gift delivery company that offers services
such as flowers and gift arrangements - services comes in packages that customers could
choose from. Our company partnered with another individual/group to design and create
our gifts

- key activities - gift making and delivery for customers. Key resources - gift wrapping
tools, fresh flowers, food (snacks, chocolates, etc)

Analysis

S: Gifts are generally open for all ages - everyone could order and surprise someone on
their special day - a range of affordable prices are available -
W: During the pandemic season, business may run slow and certain restrictions (SOP)
must be abide - limited movements around the town -
O: There are a few gift and delivery shops around the West Coast zone in Sabah. This is
a chance for our company to start a local franchise around town or at least a more
proficient delivery services in distant places from the main store.
T: Rising cost of materials.

5.0 Market Opportunity
Marketing is very important in order to give satisfaction to the customers and they will
get the resource they need. Our business is to sell various kind of gift basket which
contain good quality of items. This business can give joy to customers because the design
of the gift basket is satisfactory and the delivery service facilities are also provided with
affordable price. It will be located in home which managed by a small number of
workers. From this business we will strive to attract customers in various ways so that
this business can run smoothly and give us a profit.

5.1 Market size


The market size is influenced by the number of orders from customers which will involve
how many productions can be implemented in a period of time. It is also a small market
size because it does not involve a big company in produce this product which this market
is private market that conducted by a small number of workers.

PRODUCT
Based on Cambridge Dictionary, product is something that is made to be sold
usually something that is produced by an industrial process or less commonly
something that is grown or obtained through farming. The product of this business
is gift basket which contain a lot of items that needed to produce the product that
needed. There are six product distribution that we will evaluate in this part:

QUALITY
✓The product contain a good quality Chocolates, Stationary items, jewelry
items, cards, candles, cosmetics items, Mugs, flowers and other gift items
etc.
DESIGNING
✓The look of the product is stunning
✓The use of color is suitable
✓The decoration is neat
PACKAGING
✓It is for the protection of the product
✓The packaging is deliver by the postage
✓We use the bubble wrap and double box to prevent the product from being
damaged.

✓Label all the items that used in the product
✓As a awareness of the customers of the items that used in the product

PRICE

The price of the product is according to the type of gift basket because each of the
item used is different and the price is also different which in this part, we will
explain about the price that we decide to put in each of the type gift basket.

✓ The price of product will cost based on the cost of production.


✓ Discount will be given to customers who regularly buy and buy in large
quantities.
✓ The cheapest price is RM50. Negotiable.

PLACE

✓ The place of setting the Bayu Surprise Delivery is in the business owner’s
home office.
✓ To give an easier access, Bayu Surprise Delivery is a direct marketing
channel where the customer can directly contact through WhatsApp,
Instagram and Facebook.
✓ The place of setting is open for walk in.

PROMOTION

Promotion is one of the ways to attract customers to the service that we produce
which there are Three Tools that can be used for promote the gift basket.

ADVERTISING
✓It is through the mass multimedia
✓For example, internet application such as Facebook, Whatsapp and Instagram.
SALES PROMOTION
✓Low price of gift basket in a period of time
✓It will be carried out when the customer does not reach a reasonable estimate which we
will provide a low price or discount in that time to achieve more stable amount of income.
PUBLICITY
✓The social influencer or social media will help to increase the number of the potential
buyers.
