essential to know laboratory techniques, materials, and operations prior to performing
experiments in the lab.

Laboratories are where experiments are carried out and where data is being gathered.
Undoubtedly, it is where toxic chemicals are displayed and various laboratory apparatus are
readily available. It is necessary that every individual who is going to operate an experiment
should be prepared in he/she will be dealing with and he/she should have in-depth and rigorous
knowledge in regards to executing correct laboratory techniques. Knowing how to use these tools
can only benefit you. This is especially true if you are expected to use them while pursuing your
area of research and testing.

While working in a lab, it is expected that every person must be reinforced with
appropriate knowledge and skills in experimenting to be able to derive with desired results. It
should be bear in mind that the chemicals that would handling are encompassing different
properties that will heavily affect the safety of everybody if not carefully and correctly used.
Preparation is essential in everything we do. As such, they should strictly adhere to the proper
guidelines implemented in the lab such as wearing PPE or using proper laboratory equipment
and they must be able to examine the different laboratory techniques that need to be accurately
performed. It is important to know beforehand the different materials to be used and different
techniques to be learned because it will greatly help you in avoiding committing errors while
experimenting. It is easy to contaminate the sample through poor laboratory techniques therefore
it is important to follow certain rules. For example, Don't put a reagent dropper tip into the
mouth of a test tube instead dispense reagent from above the test tube lip to avoid contamination.
Further, Do not use tap water. Rather, use distilled water or deionized water. In cleaning
glassware, it's generally easier to clean glassware if you do it right away. Usually, detergent and
tap water are neither required nor desirable. You can rinse the glassware with the proper solvent,
then finish up with a couple of rinses with distilled water, followed by final rinses with deionized
water.
 Above all, safety is by far the most important thing to consider inside a laboratory. We
have to handle every chemical with utmost care and concisely perform the laboratory techniques.
Further, there is no denying that accidents or any unwanted incidents will inevitably occur
however with proper knowledge and skills, it is more likely that will be prevented.
