ABHIVYAKTI is an online group debate competition where the participants will have to make a team of
three and present their points on the topic accordingly.
The competition will be held in three levels. The level- I will be conducted on 12th of September i.e., on
Saturday from 5:30 PM onwards.
Level-I:
1. All the teams will be paired up.
2. The paired up teams will be announced in the group itself.
3. There will be total 3 groups of teams i.e., each group will contain total number of 12 teams which
means 6 pairs of teams in each group.
4. Each group will be provided with separate Google Meet links, as the competition between the teams
will go simultaneously.
5. The participants are required to maintain the decorum during the competition since the recording of
the all three session of the three groups will be sent to the Judges for the declaration of results of the
qualifying teams for the next day.
Level- II:
1. The level- II will start from 12 PM onwards on Sunday i.e., on 13th of September.
2. All the teams qualifying for level-II need to report for the competition at least half an hour prior to
the timing of starting of the competition.
3. The teams who will report half an hour prior to the competition will be given the chance for the
tossing and being provided with the topics earlier itself so that they get sufficient time to prepare the
content whether it is in favour or against of the topic.
Level- III:
1. The top 3 teams will be selected for the final round.
2. Accordingly 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions of the teams will be announced.
General Rules:
6) A member from one team will start with an opening statement. After that, the member of the opposite
team will speak. In this way, all the members of each team will speak alternatively.
7) One member from each team will speak at a time.
8) Each member will speak only for a minute.
9) If any speaker speaks or interrupts in between, marks will be deducted from their team.
10) When all the members of both the team will end up speaking, one member from the opposite team
will make a closing statement.
11) The best speaker and the rising star will also be mentioned.
Evaluation Parameters:
