EWO Description:
During the Syncron (NCI Aftersales new pricing tool) implementation, it has been discovered that the NCI supersession
circular reference had triggered the issue for supersession pricing in the Syncron tool. Based on the consultation from
the NCI tech and Syncron, the development of this reactive report can identify the circular reference down to part
number level so that it will help Syncron support to isolate the issue and hopefully resolve in timely basis for
supersession job execution successfully in the Syncron tool. Currently there is no such report exist in NCI.
EWO Deliverables:
Reactive circular reference report to identify at part number level when the circular reference situation arises in NPOPS
Impacted Applications:
Support Syncron team to isolate the issue down to the part number level, and address accordingly (re: potentially
reduce the Syncron turn around time)
Explanation of Qualitative Benefits & Quantitative ($) Benefits:
Every time there is a circular reference in NPOPS, due to the fact the item file will feed into the Syncron tool (new
pricing system), the execution of the supersession in Syncron tool will fail. This will obviously delay the business
process, in some cases will have significant impact for business to implement pricing action on timely basis
