Reviewing previous lessons Spa tools and Equipment and giving pre-foot spa treatment
Activity 1: “ Watch Me & Guess”
1. Let the students watch the slide show of the foot spa tools, materials and equipment.
2. Let the students discover the names of the different foot spa tools, materials and equipment.

4.3 Analysis Have you been in a salon? What services do you avail? How was your experience?

Do you want to have a salon? The students will guess the topic of the day by a game, 4 pics in 1 word.

After the word will be guessed, the teacher will ask about what is Foot Spa and the benefits of Foot Spa Treatment.

4.4 Abstraction

Nowadays, every corner in the city shows how demanding is the call for this foot spa as the relaxation of all woman’s. In
setting tools in a salon is not easy task to a helper, trainee and a beautician. Imagine that you are a beautician/beauty
expert in a salon, why do you need to prepare all tools before the foot spa service?

(The teacher show the tools, materials and equipment to his student to be used in foot spa treatment).

There are standard or basic steps in performing the foot spa treatment in a salon procedure.

Offer pre-foot spa treatment (demo the pre-foot spa treatment).


The next step is prepare all equipment neatly on the trolley. Why do we need to place all tools properly in arrangement in
the trolley?

What is the next step? Next is the conduct the foot spa treatment.

4.5 Application

Group Activity: Return Demonstration


1. The students will be paired.
2. Let the students do the actual steps on how to perform foot spa treatment ( with measurement of homemade footsoak).
3. Allow students to develop their skills and knowledge in foot spa treatment.
4. The students will be given 15 minutes to do the task.

For those who don't have access to the internet? No gadgets, In remote area and not capable to do the demonstration,
there is an alternative activity.
20 minutes 1. Write the procedure ( with measurement of homemade footsoak) in a bond paper.
2. You can take pictures of yourself while doing the activity, print and paste it in a scrapbook (with measurement of
homemade footsoak).
3. You can do voice recording of the procedure in foot spa treatment and send it to my fb account (with measurement of
homemade footsoak).
4. You can Act the procedure of doing foot spa treatment and send the video to my messenger.
5. Draw the procedure nd put a label on each procedure and pass it with the SLHT ( with measurement of homemade
footsoak).
