PARTICIPANT’S COMMITMENT FORM

I,_______________________________________________, confirm my participation to the Renewable Energy


and Education Training 2021..

As a participant of the training, I make the following commitments:

1. I commit to uphold Reboot Philippines’ value of social justice, progressiveness, solidarity,


innovativeness, inclusivity, and integrity. I will, in my own way, respect these principles
through the adherence to and advancement of democracy, human rights, and the rule of
law.
a. I will treat all the members of training with respect and dignity and will contribute to
a safe environment for myself and my fellow participants.
b. I will show respect and proper decorum in consideration of differences in cultures
and beliefs between me and my colleagues, mentors, and community partners.
c. I will act with honesty and adhere to the highest moral standards, and refrain from
doing things that may endanger the life or reputation of my batchmates, the
members of the community I will work with, the Renewable Energy and Education
Training, and the Reboot Philippines.
2. I commit to Reboot Philippines’ vision of promoting a just and democratic energy transition
in the Philippines. I will, to the best of my abilities, use the skills I will gain in the training to
facilitate mindset, process, and technology shifts to promote the transition to clean energy in
the Philippines.
3. I commit to respect the privacy of all the people I will interact with through the program. I
will refrain from disclosing their personal information, contact details, location, affiliations,
political views, and any other sensitive information without their written consent.
4. I recognize that my admission in a training program is a privilege that could have been given
to someone else who has the drive and capacity to fulfill all requirements of the program.
With this in mind, I will, to the best of my abilities, commit to fulfill all the requirements of
the program.
a. I commit to attend all the online and/ or physical training of the event, which will run
in September for the training and until the production of authored instructional
materials. In special and unavoidable circumstances that I will be absent, I will do my
part to catch up on the course content and requirements that I may have missed.
b. I commit to actively participate in all activities and discussions in the training, may
they be synchronous or asynchronous sessions. I will engage in discussions, fully

participate in activities and exercises, work closely with my teammates and mentors,
and maintain open lines of communication with all the people I will work with.
c. I commit to engage in conversations with my mentors, co-participants, DepEd Naga,
and Reboot Philippines, both within and outside the stages of the program, as I
gradually elucidate my vision of the Just and Democratic Energy Transition.
d. I commit to make proper use of all learning materials provided to develop, design,
and implement transformative projects such as Instructional Materials for
Renewable Energy teaching.
e. I commit to work with my cohort to co-develop a regional hub which will be the
advocacy center for Renewable Energy in Naga and in Bicol.
f. Fully recognizing that joining the Renewable Energy and Education Training will require
me to deliver, I commit to give time, effort, and skill to satisfactorily fulfill all the
requirements of the program.
5. I will not engage in any activity during the conduct of the training that will compromise my
and/or my co-participants’ active and meaningful participation in the program.
6. I understand that my inability or unwillingness to observe these commitments may result in
my expulsion from the Reboot Philippines’ Renewable Energy and Education Training.
