Instructions: Conduct a simple interview with a child, an adolescent, and an adult. (Your interview may be done
with your family members and/or online. Make sure to observe precautionary measures to avoid the spread of
COVID-19.) Ask about how they learn. You may modify your questions such as asking them about their favorite
teacher, or favorite subject, or the kind of teacher they do not like (if any), and the reasons behind their answers.
From the answers you gathered and with what you have learned from the lesson, cite specific ways on how you
think you would become an effective facilitator of learning for children, adolescents, and adults. Fill in the boxes

Based on her answers, I
noticed that a child will be motivated
to learn if they are rewarded for their
efforts. "Binibigyan niya (teacher)
ako ng Jollibee" she says, and
because of that reward, she was
inspired to learn more and push
harder in school so that she may
represent their school and win in
school contests again. In that way, a
child will be more interested in
learning and it can build their self-
confidence and be more active in the
class. I also noticed that the child's
learning is dependent to teachers.
Therefore, to become effective
facilitator in the future, I must
always show kindness and to
become a good role model to my
students. I will also implement more
detailed lessons and give simple
instructions/rules that they can
understand easily. I will be more
patient in teaching them. In that way,
I can earn their trust and make them
feel at ease while learning, thus they
won't be afraid to ask me questions
if they don't understand something.
