ARALING PANLIPUNAN DEPARTMENT HEADS AND CHAIRMEN OF PANGASINAN DIVISION II

Present : 52 Department Heads and Chairmen of Araling Panlipunan of Pangasinan Division II

The following issues and concerns were discussed by the Education Program Supervisor of Araling
Panlipunan,Dr. Jerome S. Paras during the virtual orientation of Department Heads and Chairmen of
Araling Panlipunan of Pangasinan Division II via google meet :

1. All teachers of Araling Panlipunan should always prepare a weekly home learning plan that will
served as a blueprint to guide the learners, parents and teachers on what objective and activities
should the learner do and accomplish to meet the required learning competencies.
2. Teachers are encouraged to submit weekly/monthly accomplishment report with
pictorial/documentation if possible.
3. Conduct a virtual monitoring and assessment of teaching and learning based on the MELC.
4. All master teachers were encouraged to conduct action research that will benefit students.
5. Teachers are asked to report progress of students quarterly. Everyone is enjoined to devise ways
to make sure that the learners learn and passed. We were asked to prioritized the said task.
6. Submit a quarterly report of least mastered MELC. Used the summative test in the new self-
learning module. He also reiterated that we should not create /make another summative test for
the students. Tayug NHS, AP Head Teacher, was requested to share their best practices in getting
the least mastered MELC.
7. Everyone was reminded to support the WINS Program of their School. Proper hygiene must
observe in our school and home to reduce the risk of getting infected of covid-19.
8. Maintain good relationships with your colleagues.
9. Everyone was encouraged to share their best practices in getting the least mastered MELC for this
school year. Just PM Dr. Jerome S. Paras.
10. Adopting one format in getting the least mastered MELC for this school year.
11. He also shared that there is a committee created for crafting Pangasinan II History.
12. For this school year, there will be search for 10 Outstanding Head Teachers/Chairmen of Araling
Panlipunan and 10 Teachers of Araling Panlipunan , wait for the memo.
13. Everyone is encouraged to join the online demonstration teaching. Minimum of 15 students. This
is already approved by the Superintendent.
