Writing Activity 1. Email letter to a friend.
You are the editor of a university magazine. You need to write a 3-paragraph article
about people’s “Bucket list”. Tell your readers the things you have/haven’t done;
places you have/haven’t visited; etc.

Dear Marcela
I hope you are fine. Thank you for the pictures you have sent me in your previous mail.
They are beautiful and bring me some good memories. I am writing you because I am
planning to visit Santa Marta next month and it would be great if you can manage to have a
dinner together because it would be so great.
I tell you that in my childhood I had to study from one city to another, it was difficult to adapt
quickly, I did not play with my classmates, I did not work in a group with them. But despite
the time I got adjusted to the environment, I never had a ball, I did not have a play Station, I
did not have a remote control car, neither yoyo nor ball bearing, I liked both things, but I did
not have it.
I would have liked that in childhood I had all those things that I mentioned to you, to play
with my classmates, share more together and go on walks that they did at school to have a
lot of fun, but hey life goes on and you have to enjoy it.
