INCLUSIVE EDUCATION

To be eligible to graduate make sure you have completed 80 units (10 units = 1 course unless otherwise specified) which meet the following criteria:

• Core courses – 30 units.


• Students must complete 80 units of study consisting of a combination of three Core courses, specialisation Compulsory courses and Directed courses.
This varies according to the selected specialisation. Visit the Program Handbook for more information.
• Students requiring an in-school placement in Special or Inclusive education should choose EDUC6109 Integrated Fieldwork Studies, or EDUC6056
Practicum for Teachers of Children who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing (Deaf Studies Deaf Education specialisation) as a Directed course in their program.
• The maximum time to complete this program is 4 years.
• The duration of this program is one year full-time (40 units per semester) or part-time equivalent.
• Part-time students generally enrol in 10–20 units each Semester (2-4 years duration).
