Learning Objective By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:
use adverbs correctly by filling in the blanks and making
sentences.

Success criteria Pupils are successful if they are able to:

1. fill in the blanks with at least 3 correct adverbs.
2. construct at least 4 correct sentences using the adverbs
learnt.

Activity 1. Pupils write the list of adverbs on the board. ( Word Race)
2. Pupils play Simon Says. The command could be
( Walk forward crazily four steps.)
3. Pupils circle the adverbs in the paragraph shown.
4. Pupils add adverbs to the sentences and share their answers
   in class.
5. In groups, pupils make at least 5 sentences using the cards
   given. Pupils read out the sentences.
