discuss what religion and belief can really do to everyday lives; The central
character’s, Ibarra/Simoun’s, tragic fall will also be compared to Rizal’s trajectory
of Rizal’s history and his opposition to the revolution in the Philippines to justify
the idea that express a condescending attitude to Rizal, such as the title of his
other work on Rizal
2) Write a reflection paper about selected chapters discussing the role of youth in
society.60 pts.

After reading the selected chapters discussing the role of youth in society, I
gained the knowledge of how important the youth is according Dr. Jose Rizal has been
emphasizing the role of youth in society. The youth may be young but they have a
voice. Their voice can change the perspective and views of every individual for they
have a role to play to change the role of the game specifically in the different social
issues our country is facing.

As a juvenile I believe that the knowledge and power of the youth have had the
ability to turn the impossible into the possible. Knowing that we are active and willing to
take on challenges motivates them to be heard. We are young, but we are mature
enough to face and fight for what is right and just in society. Many of their stories have
the potential to inspire others.

To sum it up I was brought up to think that in reality youth are more vulnerable,
soft and emotional but they have the fire within that no one can take it away from them.
Truly, we should always treasure their presence and respect their ideals and aspirations
for they are unique forces our society needs the most especially at present.
