1.In the novel "Noli Me Tangere" by Jose Rizal, one of the major characters who had a profound impact
on my personal growth is Elias. Elias is portrayed as a wise and compassionate man who, despite his
own hardships, remains dedicated to helping others. Through his character, I learned the importance of
empathy, resilience, and fighting for truth and justice. Elias showed me the value of selflessness and
taught me that even in the face of adversity, one can still choose to be kind and upright. His dedication
to fighting for the rights of the oppressed inspired me to be more socially aware and actively contribute
to positive change in society. Elias's courage and integrity continue to inspire me to strive to be a better
person, always standing up for what is right.

2. A)Noli Me Tangere, a novel written by Jose Rizal, holds a significant place in Philippine literature.
Rizal's primary motivation for writing this masterpiece was to expose the injustices and abuses suffered
by the Filipinos under Spanish colonial rule. With painstaking detail, he vividly depicted the social,
political, and religious corruption that plagued Philippine society at the time. By documenting the plight
of his fellow countrymen, Rizal sought to awaken national consciousness and inspire a collective desire
