A. What is the importance of Communication and what are the possible barriers of
having an effective communication?

Communication is very important in our lives, especially in developing

relationships (The Scientific World, 2020). Humanity is fond of being understood, and
communication plays a huge role in that mechanism. Communication is the act of
exchanging information with other people (Davis, 2020). From written; visual; verbal;
non-verbal such as hand signals, we can communicate to others (Wilkomm, 2018). But
communication isn’t always smooth, because as easy as it is to say words, there could
be things that could hinder the communication process. This could be because of
language barriers such as the use of jargon words, or cultural barriers, such as cultural
differences, or even physical barriers such as noise (Garner & Wilkomm, 2018).
Communication is a life skill, we need it in order to survive in the real world, that’s why it
is important to adapt in the presence of the barriers in order to do it effectively.
