Marker
This model is crocheted in continuous spirals (if other is not specified) so you’ll need a stitch marker to
keep track of where the beginning of each round starts. You can use a piece of contrasting yarn that is
thinner than the main one. Put it between the first and the last sts of the rnd leaving the short piece in
front of you and the main part behind the work. Work the next rnd to the marked place and put its main
part in front of the work. This simple way of putting the thread in front of and behind the work after
each rnd will let you know where the beginning of your rnd is. After the end of work it is easy to pull the
tread out. It is the quickest and the easiest way to mark rounds.

Increase (inc)
In the beginning (end or middle) of the row make
2 single crochets in 1 stitch of previous round.
Weaving in ends
When the work is completed it is necessary to
weave in all ends.
1. Thread one end through a tapestry needle
2. Weave the 15 cm (6 inches) tail of yarn up and
down through 3 or 4 stitches — kind of in a zigzag
pattern (try not to split the yarn of the stitches).
Double crochet (dc)
3. To make the end really secure go back the way

those same few stitches.
4. Cut the yarn about 0.5 cm (1/4 inch) from the
fabric and gently pull the fabric. The end magically
disappears, and your work is secure.
