ed Removing, installing
1 Disconnect hoses (10 and 11) at coolant pump connecting piece (7).
i Installation: Check condition of clamps and hoses (10 and 11),
replacing if necessary.
2 Remove capscrews (3) attaching “U” shape air intake duct (4) to
bracket (2) and capscrew (1) attaching bracket (2) to crankcase.
i Installation: Tighten capscrews (1 and 3) with n specified
torque.
3 Remove capscrew (5) and bracket (2).
i Installation: Tighten capscrew (5) with n specified torque.
4 Remove capscrew (6) attaching the bracket (9) and coolant pump
connecting piece (7) at coolant pump.
i Installation: Tighten capscrew (6) with n specified torque.
5 Remove coolant pump connecting piece (7) and gasket (8).
i Installation: Clean gasket mating surfaces on coolant pump and
on coolant pump connecting piece (7) and replace gasket (8).
6 Install in the reverse order.
