I. Find out the meaning of these words:

a. Technically (adv) : Secara Teknis.

Something that happened technically.

b. Conscious (adj) : Sadar.

Condition where somene at the point where he/she can focus. In the

video she mean that she a conscious nerd. that explain that she’s always bring

book everywhere and from that I know that she’s a clever one.

c. Nerd (n) : Kutu buku.

Someone that always read the book wherever she/he go. In the

video the vlogger become nerd because of her thesis statement.

d. Barely (adv) : Nyaris tidak.

In the video she barely do something because she focus on her

thesis statement.

e. Decay (v) : Kerusakan.

A condition where something fully broken. In the video, she mean

decay to tell that she will become slow when she not do something. I think

she’s a person that must do something to enjoy the life.

f. Cope (v) : Menghadapi.

A condition where we have a brave to face something. In the

video it’s meaning same to overcome, she have to cope her problems to step

up.

g. Had the guts (idiom) : Punya nyali.

A condition where someone make her/his determination to do

something big. In the video the vlogger told that she’s not have the guts to

make a youtube video until the time she upload her firt vieo that I watched.

h. Advocacy (n) : Advokasi.

A media or ways used in order to achieve a certain goal. In the video

 the she hope that from her youtube channel she get some advocacies and

want to share it in youtube.

Answer : She is Mara Tenchanco, she’s 20 years old, from quezon city phillipines. She’s a graduating

communication school.

2. What are her passions? Explain.

Answer: I think her passion is to become a communicator, someone who speak in public, that is why

she starting to make a youtube channel to improve her speak skill.

3. What does she do? (Activities she does that create an impact)

Answer: The time that she do her thesis statement I think. Because she’s a commercial model and it’s a

job with a pay (not a little money), and because of her work she can’t do that job anymore.

4. What is her challenge and how does she overcome it?

Answer : As stated above, she’s not good at public speaking she feels nervous if she have to speak in
front of public ,so she make a youtube channel to overcome her problem.

5. In your opinion, what is the purpose of her vlog?

Answer : I think it’s just a welcome vlog that tell vlogger info and what will she do(her content) in her
next video.
