We, the researchers from the Senior High School Department of Dr. V. Orestes
Romualdez Educational Foundation, is undergoing a research entitled “Antibacterial
Activity of Tarragon (Artemesia Dracunculus) Crude Extract on Escherichia Coli”, as a
requirement of the course on Inquiries, Investigation and Immersion, this semester.

In line with this, in preparation of the Tarragon Crude Extract, we will be using a Rotary
Evaporator to separate the solvent and the residue to obtain the extract. At present, our
school has no apparatus yet for the said extraction process, and in which, you have in
your school.

In view of the above, we would like to appeal in your good office that we will be allowed
to utilize your Laboratory, along with your Rotary Evaporator, for this activity on March
15, 2019. Rest assured that we will abide by your rules and regulations related to the
use of this facility.
