Evidence: What will have happened by then?

You are going to think carefully about the future. You need to consider a few
topics and, then, describe the events that will have happened by certain time
around these topics.

For this evidence, you will need to complete two parts. For Part A, you need to
write three texts describing your expectations around some of the most
important sport events that take place during a year time. Then, for Part B, you
will have to record a tape in which you talk about your own future in relation to
certain professional and personal aspects.

Let’s begin!

Part A

Look at the following calendar. It shows four important sport events that will take
place next year. You will need to write a text in which you predict the results for
each of the sporting majors.

The Super Bowl (American Football) Augusta - The Championships (Golf)

Wimbledon (Tennis) The World Series (Baseball)
Now, write three texts that include your sporting predictions for three of the
sporting events in the calendar. You can carry out a little research about each of
the events in order to gather information before writing; or, you can also be very
imaginative and create the whole setting for each of your writings. One example
has been done for you.
The Super Bowl
By February 1st next year, one of the most
important events in the world of sport, The
Super Bowl, will have taken place in Arizona
(USA). I’m sure the New England Patriots, will
win the Super Bowl next year because they
have had a great season so far. Their
Quarterback, Tom Brady, has had some very
good games during the regular season and the
team has beaten several big rivals; such as the
Green Bay Packers and the Denver Broncos.
The playoffs will take place in January. I think
that by mid-January the Patriots will have
beaten the Broncos again in order to reach the
final. I believe the Packers, another great team,
will be on the final by February 1st, too;
however, as the Patriots are the most
consistent of teams, I am sure that by the end
of the day, they will have won the big game and
will be crowned Super Bowl champions.
Wimbledon
For June 28, the Wimbledon
championship will be held, which is an
official tennis tournament organized
by the All England Lawn Tennis and
Croquet Club, we can also enjoy them
in London, the current champion is
Roger Federer in men's singles, it was
his nineteenth Grand Slam title
therefore I think his defeat will come
this year with his opponent Andy
Murray and the score will be 11 to 8
Part B
Augusta – The
Championship
On April 19, the Augusta - The
Championship will be held, a golf
championship where it is also called the
masters where the winner will have at
least two million pesos, there will
compete Larry Mize where he was
already one of the winners for his great
techniques to It's time to compete in golf
and I'm sure that in 2022 it will again be
one of the winners in the Augusta
tournament - The Championship,
although last year this event was not
held due to the pandemic, now more
new players are coming where Larry
Mize has a little more competition for the
final.
The World Series
On October 21, the World Series is the
final series of the Major League Baseball
postseason, played between the
champions of the national and American
leagues. In the 2017 edition, the 113th
edition can be seen on YouTube TV, we
are waiting for the two teams In the final
that may be in the first knockout phase
are the Cleveland Indians, the New York
Yankees, the Houston Astros, the Boston
Reds. Sox at the second break. and in
the second knockout phase Washington
Nationals, Chicago Cubs, Los Angeles
Dodgers, Arizona Diamondbacks
Read the following topics. Think carefully about all the aspects concerning you
future in relation to the topics on the list. Then, structure a short talk (about 3
minutes) in which you express your predictions about each of the topics in
mention.

 Your plans for this evening.

 Your plans for the rest of the week.
 Your next birthday.
 How your life will be different in the years’ time.

Now, record your tape. Describe each of the events you predicted
chronologically based on the order in which each of the situations will happen.
Be as creative as possible.

HEADBAND
Hello, my name is Angelica León and now I will tell you what I plan to do tonight,
because mainly I will finish the course work in the English dot works 8, also I
would like to prepare a movie night since it is Friday, and to be able to leave to
bed very late as this week was quite difficult at school and I need a break.

As for my plans for the rest of the week they are very relaxed since the week
begins with my birthday, which I will be very anxious because I waited for that day
for a long time and in three days it will arrive, then I will go to dance and theater
rehearsals which are in the afternoon. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I will also
present the bi-monthly assessments at the end of the year the other week and will
finally finish with this course.

On the other hand, what would my next birthday be like? And I think it would be at
a party where I share with my friends and family and have a wonderful day, I hope
to be the sensation of the month on my birthday

And finally I believe that my life will have more and more changes although I know
that there will be bad things, I would like the good things to be more, that
everything I propose I achieve and I can enter the university that I want and be
able to. fulfill each of my dreams, be able to obtain each of my achievements on
my own merits and be the pride of both my parents and my whole family, I just
hope that the future is more than I imagined and that I can finish my studies with
great recognitions achieving full happiness.
