1. The audience of this report is me, as I pretended to be a research consultant and also the one
who will be reading this report.
2. The Brillantes Company needs a sale and distribution site, including a reception area, one
private office, and a conference/display area. They need it because the company seeks for
suitable office space.
3. I would rely on primary research as it is more reliable and it includes important data that you
can analyze and implement its findings.

WHAT IS IT

“The Necklace”

Mathilde is a beautiful woman, married to a middle class who longs for a wealthy lifestyle, discontented
for everything her husband’s provides as she feels she deserves more. The couple are invited to attend a
formal party but she feel insecure about what she will wear, her husband gave her 400 francs though it’s
too much for him, in spite of that she’s still not contented because there’s no jewelry so she visit a friend
to borrow a diamond necklace. She had fun in the event knowing she’s adored at the party until she
realized that the necklace is gone. They looked for it everywhere till they decided to replace it with the
same necklace design, they work for weeks, looking for sources of money to buy the 40,000 francs
diamond necklace. They we’re relieve when they already return it to the owner without finding out what
happened. Since then they worked tripled to pay their debts and began to live life of crippling poverty,
She aged and become ugly then she meet her friend again not recognizing her as she looks completely
different from the last time they’ve meet. She explain what really happened, her friend can’t help but
gets shocked and tell her that the original necklace is fake and not worth anything.

No I don’t find it difficult, because I’ve already read the story many times that I already knew the
important or the key details in the story and I focused on retelling that part.

I analyze and summarize the story in my own words and mark the important sections, yes it is very
helpful because it helps me know what part or information should be included in the summarization.
