Rodelio’s encounter with The Aliens

It was a dark and stormy night. The whole of Villareal’s Village was covered
by dark clouds. Christopher was returning home. It started to pour a heavy rain.

Suddenly he saw a U.F.O. appearing from the clouds above. In no time it landed
on the road. Three aliens came out. Rodelio was astonished as he could
understand their language. Rodelio said, “I am brave, and I understand what

DO_Q3_English3_Module1
you’re talking. Please don’t do that”. Their plan was to take all the trees away
from earth. Not wasting a moment, Rodelio called his friends. Those aliens
pointed out to a tree. It seems that there is a magical thing in their fingers. An
eerie blue light shot out from their hands making a tree vanish. Soon, Rodelio’s
friends arrived. They tried to scare those aliens by throwing stones, but in vain.
They are all scared.

Luckily, Mr. Modelo, the fat inspector of the area arrived. With a frightened
look on his face, he shot at those aliens. One of them pointed his finger at Mr.
Modelo. To everyone’s amazement, Mr. Modelo became as thin as a stick.
Everybody laughed. Suddenly, Anna, Rodelio’s friend, ran towards them,
shouting at the top of her shrill voice. Those aliens got the fright of their lives
and vanished along with their spaceship. The kids were delighted. They had
saved their planet. Mr. Modelo was left fiddling with his pants.

Questions:

1. What happened when Rodelio is on his way home?

2. What did Rodelio saw?
3. What did the Aliens want to do?
4. Who arrived and shot the Aliens?
5. What happen to Mr. Modelo?
6. If you were Rodelio, what would you do?
