Using This/That and These/Those

This is the word that we use when talking about


something that is near. That is the word that we use when
pointing to something that is not within reach or is far from
the speaker. This and That are used for naming words that
mean one they are used with is.

Examples: This is my nose.


That is the sun.

We use These when talking about things that are


near. Those is used when pointing to things that are far
from the speaker. These and Those are used with are.

Examples: These are my eyes.


Those are stars.
