Rationale:

Writing Daily Lesson Log/ Detailed Lesson Plan based on DepEd Order No. 42, s.
2016 is an important curriculum practice that each teacher should embrace. Besides this,
he/she must posses a clear understanding on how to make use of this plan during the teaching
and learning process. That is why, each teacher should have a clear grasp on what is expected
for them to perform in consonance with the DLL/DLP’s expectations.
Accordingly, as observed, teachers have varied interpretation of the DLP/DLP
processes. In response to this, AP teachers have to agree on the DLL/DLP format and what to
fill in in the template based on the order from DepEd authorities. In this way, AP teachers
will have a common understanding about the DLL/DLP preparations.
Part of the training also, the discussion on media literacy integration will also be
included. In this segment, teachers will be trained on how to make use of available media
resources to develop critical thinking among the learners. This will also strengthen the
DLL/DLP presentations of the teachers in order to help train learners how to be critical on
media resources.
Overall, the training focuses on strenghtening the curriculum implementation of the
Araling Panlipunan teachers, specifically on DLL/DLP preparation and the integration of
media literacy to capacitate the teaching and learning processes within the classroom.

II. Objectives of this Roll-out are the following:

A. Terminal Objective
-Update the Araling Panlipunan teachers understanding on DLL/DLP format and
 its parts based on DepEd Order No. 42, series. 2016.
-Infuse idea on how to appropriately integrate media literacy in the teaching and
learning process.

B. Enabling Objectives
a. Review AP teachers on the DLL/DLP parts
b. Orient AP teachers on the type of activities/output expected from each part.
c. Show integration of media literacy in the teaching and learning process
