the existence of covid-19 is very dangerous to human life. with this virus
humans cannot live and move normally as usual because this virus can be
transmitted very quickly and aggressively. The first case of this disease occurred in
the city of Wuhan, China, at the end of December 2019. After that, Covid-19 spread
very quickly between people and spread to dozens of countries, including Indonesia.

someone who is positive for Covid 19 will cause symptoms such as respiratory
problems due to flu, dry cough, fever, sore throat, fatigue, and lethargy. while the
Covid-19 incubation period is still being researched by experts because the corona
virus that triggers this disease is a new type. The World Health Organization or WHO
says the incubation period for corona reaches 1-14 days. But WHO also found many
Covid-19 cases with an incubation period of only 5 days.

It was previously known that the transmission of the corona virus occurred
through direct contact with an infected person and indirect contact. Direct contact
was someone who had physical contact or was in a room within 1 meter with a case
of PDP or Positive Covid-19. Meanwhile, indirect contact involving contaminated
objects or surfaces is also possible to transmit the virus. Coronavirus can also be
spread through secretions from an infected person, such as saliva, through droplets
or respiratory droplets when an infected person coughs, sneezes, talks, or sings. they
send out a burst of mucus from droplets of saliva that fly from their mouths, these
are called droplets. There are two kinds of droplets, namely small droplets such as
touching a person with Covid directly and large droplets such as not keeping an
infected person more than one meter away, so that the virus can be easily
transmitted from saliva, sneezing, and so on.

A history of diseases that can increase the risk of contracting COVID-19 are
diabetes and heart disease. Diabetics face a higher risk of complications if infected
with the coronavirus, the fact that glucose levels fluctuate or increase weakens their
immunity, so diabetics have less protection against the virus. whereas someone with
heart disease tends to have a low immune system. As a result, the immune response
is difficult to prevent exposure to the virus. Covid-19 also attacks the lungs, which
can cause problems with the diseased heart working harder to get oxygen in the
blood throughout the body.
