There have been divergent opinions as regards whether global warming ought to be
esteemed a concern worth tackling or something they should gloss over and get accustomed to. This
essay will discuss both perspectives and present the personal view.

On the one hand, it goes without saying that climate change can be an enormous nuisance
due to the following rationales. First and foremost, erratic changes regarding the atmosphere may
have perilous impact on human health. To exemplify, there has been an intolerable heat wave which
had made myriad Australian citizens fainted along with a minority of them passed away. Over and
above, climate change can severely deteriorates the crops which farmers live on. To the best of my
knowledge, unpredictable weather affects negatively the way crops grow, which leads to an array of
farmers who have to give up their livelihood for they cannot profit from it anymore. All in all, the
aforementioned things are what prompt people to devise better plan in order to mitigate this
environmental hindrance.

On the other hand, there should not be any modification in respect of global warming on
account of a couple reasons. The first cogent reason is that many have an unwavering conviction
that climate change is simply a repercussion for what human did, and it is of our duty to be
responsible for it. In a religious sense, we are duty-bound to accept the punishment from deities and
live with it remorsefully. Another pivotal rationale is that some believe in the human’s ability to
adapt with new environment. According to Darwin’s evolution theory, it is within the bound of
possibility to survive in this arduous climate as we are likely to sustain and ultimately get
accustomed with the new environment. Hence, there is no need to improve this situation.

By and large, to my way of thinking, while it is true that human is a miraculous entity that
can withstand the vicissitudes of global warming, it still needs contemplating that in order to
completely adapt to climate change, there will be a myriad of casualties; thus, it is of my personal
belief that we should ameliorate the environmental issue as soon as possible.
